Your Neighborhood Credit Union

Your Accounts Are Secure

“No one has ever lost a single penny of insured share deposits within the credit union system.”
-Todd Harper, NCUA Chairman
Your money is safe. ETCU Deposits are federally insured and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government and insured through the National Credit Union Administration’s (NCUA) Share Insurance Fund up to $250,000 per depositor.

The mission of Edinburg Teachers Credit Union is to be the best financial institution in the Rio Grande Valley. Unlike a bank, we do not pass along profits to shareholders. Instead, as a not-for-profit financial institution, we return earnings to members in the form of benefits and savings including higher deposit rates and lower loan rates.

The interior remodel of ETCU looks great! Especially the new offices and lobby.  It feels so good to see the changes!

Congratulations to ETCU for making such a great change for the betterment of our members.

Environment is a lot cleaner, and this has made it a more approachable credit union.  I look forward to many more years with ETCU.

New leadership, new technology, a new horizon.  Delighted to be a member of Edinburg Teachers Credit Union. Excited to have witnessed the changes and the changes to come. The future is here, and I am excited to stand alongside my credit union every step of the way!

ETCU will be closed on Wednesday, May 1, 2024

We are converting to a new computer system, effective May 1, 2024.  This new system will make it easier to serve you by improving our efficiency as well as offering you new and exciting tools for managing your accounts with us.

During this process we will need to close our doors and temporarily disconnect online banking. Please plan ahead for your financial needs during this time.  We will re-open on Thursday, May 2, 2024 and online banking will be available at that time.

New Online Banking: Part of the conversion involves switching to the online banking platform offered by our new processing system.  All members will need to re-enroll in online banking and accept the user agreement after the conversion is complete.  (Account numbers and format will not be changing.)  We will have user guides for the new system available for you soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

This will close in 60 seconds
